Leadership

Alpharetta Presbyterian Church's committed leadership team consists of staff and lay leadership.  We are governed by the Book of Order, which along with the Book of Confessions, serves as the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Information about our clergy and professional staff is available on the staff page.

Our elected deacons and elders, along with dozens of other volunteers serve our community, plan and implement our programs, lead our worship, teach our classes, and manage our facilities and resources.

Deacons

Our deacons minister to fellow parishioners. When members and their families are distressed, our deacons coordinate and deliver support.  They also keep our congregation and clergy aware of pastoral needs.  The Deacons' Flower Ministry delivers the Sunday sanctuary arrangements to church members who are unable to attend worship services.

More information is available on the deacons page.

Elders

Our elected elders, along with our pastoral staff, compose The Session.  The elders govern the church according to the Book of Order.  They are responsible for assisting worship, strategic planning, and leading our many programs and activities.

More information is available on the elders page.
