Children

Fun Outings

To build friendships through recreation, APC offers kids several fun outings during the year. Some are open to all children, and others target a specific age group.

Annual Children's Christmas Pageant

The Children's Christmas Pageant is a beloved APC tradition.  Children come dressed as his or her favorite nativity character or animal.  Your little ones will be guided by our pageant director and volunteers.  This yearly tradition is held in December.

Children in Mission

We love our neighbors through Christian service.  We offer children several mission opportunities a year. Our hands-on projects may include stocking a local food pantry, visiting assisted-living residents, or planting flowers to beautify the APC campus.

Cottage Garden Experience

Starting in the spring, some Fun Wednesdays will incorporate gardening experiences at the APC Cottage Garden. Our resident gardener, Miss Maggie Mulch, will be available for special projects in the summer and fall.  Children and parents are welcome to come and help.

Child Safety

APC has adopted processes and policies intended to keep children, guests, volunteers, and staff safe and informed.

All volunteers working with children and youth are subject to background checks and training and must complete the Child and Youth Volunteer Forms in the APC Document Library.
