Welcome to Alpharetta Presbyterian Church!
|
| We're glad you stopped by to visit us online. Many of our church guests make their first visit with us on our web site. We hope that you'll return to this page often and consider joining us at the church sometime. |
| Traditional worship and Christian service are the foundations of our church. We gather as a community of faith, listening for God's call to us, and affirming God's saving Grace through the love of Jesus Christ. We then go out into the world, to serve wherever God calls us. |
| Our congregation includes people from all walks of life and many faith backgrounds. |
|
If you are new to APC, you might start your web visit by following the Welcome Visitors link and then learn more about our worship and activities by using the menu to the left.
Thanks for coming by. We hope to see you among us soon.

July Preaching Series
Dr. Wagner and the Liturgical Arts Committee of APC are organizing a July Preaching Series entitled “Summer Symbols of Faith.” Each Sunday of the month will have as a theme Scriptural symbols that are very much a part of our own Summer activities. The Liturgical Arts committee has graciously agreed to provide visual symbols to enhance the morning’s theme. The themes and readings for each week are as follows:
- July 27th – “Sunshine,” John 3:16-21, Revelation 7:15-17
Summer is a time of recreation and renewal. May it be so in our worship life as well.

4th Annual Miss Mary's Ice Cream Crankin'
The Fourth Annual Miss Mary’s Ice Cream Crankin’, benefiting The Drake House, will be held at Roswell Square on Sunday, August 24, from 2 – 4:00 p.m.
We need “Crankers” again this year to bring their favorite home-made ice cream. Veteran crankers are welcome back again this year, and we need new volunteers as well.
Please contact Gerard Ballard, gerardballard @ comcast.net if you can participate by bringing your favorite ice cream. We have had good participation from APC in past years, and would like to have the largest turnout ever for this year’s event. If you cannot participate as a cranker, please come to Roswell Square for a fun filled afternoon of family entertainment.

Emphasis on Access
By introducing the new Podcast capability for listening on line, APC hopes to provide improved access to those who, for whatever reason, can not get to our worship services. As we continue to gain experience with tools and techniques, we may also consider adding live audio and video streaming, video podcasting, and other multimedia services. The decision on what capabilities to develop will be driven by the needs of our members.
Technology can help our members keep in touch with what's going on in the church, but did you know that access can by enhanced by some of the most simple things?
- Our buildings are accessible without using stairs.
- Large print bibles and hymnals available for worship services.
- The sanctuary is equipped with assistive listening devices to help folks hear things more clearly.
Please check with the worship service ushers for more information about these items.
